Two kinds of people: those who blame God for what they don’t have and those who thank God for what they do have. Those who blame God are EHs, externally handicapped. They’re always looking to external things to blame for their lack of success: “bad breaks, my parents, school, older brother, society, country, God, the Bible, my spouse, my tough luck, or my church, my rabbi…they’re all to blame. They’re all hurting me, disappointing me, and crippling me.”
Contrast those who thank God for what they do have.
Thanking God for what you do have is gratitude, and an attitude of gratitude gives altitude.
